Title: strange stain

I got asked to go remove a pink stain from carpet which took a while to work on I fully remved it and when left property it had gone but had a call to say it had came back through first time ive had this any ideas on what to do next

Could be anything but as you said you removed it but it returned then it is probably something which has wicked up from the base of the carpet/backing  as it dried. Remove it again but dry the carpet with an airmover or hairdryer to prevent further wick back.

Try bìcarbinate soda ! Sounds daft but derek bolton discovered ph imbalances a few years ago that caused pink flare ups and bicarb totally eradicted it
