Title: water softener resin Vessel

I have an old water softener resin vessel I used a few years ago, but no longer need it since moving house.

Was thinking of removing the water softener resin and replacing it with DI resin to double up my DI setup

Daft question maybe but does anyone see any issues using the water softener resin vessel as a DI vessel ?
