Title: Con men
Post by: clarkson on April 28, 2014, 01:05:08 pm
Hi guys
I have heard several anecdotes in two weeks of 'gangster' type guys selling rounds.

In one case there wasn't any round at all completely bogus.

So check carefully have they work history , any window cleaning equipment and knock on a sample of customers. Etc.

One guy took a beating and police wouldn't get involved saying its civil matter, I disagree as it's fraud and abh.

Thought I would put the warning out . Midlands area.

John

I had an email offering me an unbelievable round for £3000. Never existed.

The email was aimed at me as if we were really good pals as well.

Yep, can see why "gangsters" would get involved in window cleaning.

Must admit some of the guys I knock for have had less than 100% legit backgrounds.
