I think forcing him to wear the gimp suit was a step too far. It pushed him over the edge and when added to the innapropriate touching it made him physically sick.
Just my opinion.

That's what happened to Cozys last work colleague. Except cozy made him wear his 12" mop up his dirt box.

As a new member of staff he will have a signed contract with yourself, you may be in trouble if you just sack him for being sick. Be careful.

I've sacked him for the gate he gouged with a pressure washer, the job he lost when he missed skylights but swore he didn't and for twice saying he'd be in next day and then not turning in.

Well done David, send him packing.

I have had that for years off staff an have sacked the lot, you within your right to dismiss staff for failing to turn up to work, I have the attitude that if your not in Monday you are off for the week regardless of excuse. Also will require in writing a full reason for absence, signed and dated and must be posted, then when I get round to opening the letter I will be in touch !!

2 sides to every coin

You gave the lad a job and he has took the p, ask him if it's ok to cover the cost of gettin some one else an the bother u had sorting it out.

Don't really understand people's work ethic

Put all new staff on 0hour contracts then you dont need a excuse to get rid of them  ;)
