Title: I've sold up.
Post by: Perfect Windows on April 27, 2014, 09:43:38 pm
Customer phoned earlier.

Guy called at her door and said he'd be doing her windows from now on.  She said "I have a window cleaner".  He said "No, he's sold the round to me".

Nice.

Happened to me once as well. The hapless guy picked on the wrong one, my customer told him where to go!

Someone on here asked me for an example of my flyer. I sent him one and he used it to draft up a letter saying I had sold my round to him.

That was a few years back. To my knowledge I lost 1 customer.

And too vince as well he would have probably given advise which would have been far more valuable than stealing from him, vin gave me advice on the phone and it helped me massively stealing or deception IMO is never the best way

Given me a new idea there Vin. I'm going to knock on strange doors and ask for window money. It'll help top up my JSA and there's new gardens to rob stuff out of.  :D

Love this malarky.  ;)

Thought I was going to waste an hour calling everyone to warn them but it wasn't wasted at all.  Pretty much every one of the customers was suitably shocked and so keen to tell them to get lost if they do knock that I ended up feeling terrific.
