Read the article carefully - it says anyone can have one of these accounts regardless of their background or their faith.

I think you'll find that although an 'Islamic' account doesn't charge or pay interest you do pay a set monthly fee for having the account.

Under Sharia rules it's ok to charge a fee for providing a service.
