We use the Rhino ladder clamps. They are very quick to undo but the locks are a joke.
One good tug on the yellow handle will break the lock.

Don't use any, I use bungees. Brother-in-law uses loops of rubber cut from ald car tyre inner tubes!! ;D

I use rope.
