A 400 to 500 litre tank is gonna be 400 to 500 kgs so if that helps max I would put in is about 300 litre

On the 787kg model with a 350 tank full and me in it with everything else.

100kg spare.

So it weighs 687kg.

So no chance.

too much weight and you will be paying for repairs,      too much weight will wear away on your suspension, and springs,    you can always add more water half way through and have some dinner while filling up.

Iv got a 400 upright in mine, id say its to big for the van, a 350 would of been better.

Also the 400 dosent fit against the bulkhead, so something else to think about

You have not told us which model of combo you have. I think we assuming it is an older model, in which case your maximum payload for the 2000 (gvw) version is around 800kg, so 350l-400l. However, if it is the 2300 version of the current shape, then 500l will be fine.

Doesnt matter what model it is, whats important is the payload. OP stated it "van payload is 595kg"
