Hi Folks,
Just got new resin & key to turn up water pressure from the road...does it make any difference if water goes fast through Di vessel ? (Also my water is reading .02 after going through new resin after half an hr running ???)

the faster the water goes through the more resin you use up. put it through the d/i at about a litre a minute.you should be getting zero tds with new resin. slow the water down coming out tap.

You should pass water through the vessel as slow as possible. This is one of the reasons why it's best to have the vessels on the van to pump through & fill the tank with tap water. This way the flow through the vessel is as slow as it realistically can be. ;)

Cheers guys....was speaking to another windy who said great time saving but in the back of my mind I remember on here saying not having fast flow pressure...👍

Nothing saves more time than filling the tank with tap water at full bore!! ;D It also means you can top up anywhere too. ;)

Actually its better to pump your water from your tank into your DI as you will onky use up what you need and if you leave the tank sitting there your water wont go bad.
leaving DI water in a large tank for a while is pointless as the water becomes contamninaed from the air

That's what I wrote, fill tank with tap water & pump through vessels. :)

you can leave it for months without the tds rising , the tank is pretty much sealed anyway!
