Title: Those who franchise
Post by: Ian101 on April 22, 2014, 06:44:21 pm
If its not public a question how much do you charge the franchisee and what do they get for their money .. thinking along lines of poles etc .. understand the static systems are most likely on long term loan as per Mr Lancasters system

Hi Ian

I charged 3k for the first one and 5k for the second. Next one will be 6k. I include everything in the package except fitting the tank, I supply it but they have to arrange to have it fitted. Alternatively I will have it fitted professionally myself but the fee is 1k more.

I supply a 22' CLX with extention, hose reel, hose, DI Vessel x 2, bag of resin, TDS meter. Ii also supply a 2 hour session with a local accountant to run through setting up as a sole trader and getting their tax started on the right foot. I also supply and pay for their first years insurance.

If you want to have a chat about it feel free to ring me, 07999522999, or I'm sure Ian L. would be happy to have an informal chat about it all.

£6,950.

The franchisee needs a van, a PC/tablet, a phone and a pair of underpants (unless he wants to go commando).  That's literally true.

How much are the ongoing fees? And how do you know that your franchiser isn't giving you moody sales data to reduce his franchise payments?
