Title: 100 meters of microbore AND 30 meters of pole hose.......

At the moment its the standard setup of 100M Micro bore and not a lot of pole hose. Just enough pole hose to take a 30ft pole extended and then two meters of pole hose to connector.

I am tempted to use longer pole hose as its obviously easier to manage.

Any issues here with pumps etc?

Or should i cut some off the microbore and make it to 80 Meters and 30 meters pole hose......

You will get no issues, we have one site where we run 200m of thermobore and 40ft of pole hose with out changing the pump/controller settings  ;) pressure was the same as 100m and 30ft pole hose.

I have 100m on reel and a fair bit of pole hose (25ft running through pole, but i have a pole tap strapped to pole, so then have enough pole hose after tap that the microbore doesn't move while on one side of the house)

Think that makes sense....lol

Edit : just thought after reading the other posts that ive used 2x100m reels connected up with no pressure change so you'll be fine!

On my highest job I use 100m of 1/2' and then 100ft of pole hose.
No problem at all.

I find the problem with long pole hose is when you roll it up in the van when you put pole away gonna be reall messy and I'm abit OCD so no good for me lol !!!! 😊😳😝

I use 30m of pure freedom minibore connected to 50m of Aqua-dapter red pole hose on my reel, every day. No problem.  ;D

We have a site with solar panels on a 17m high roof and we link 300m of microbore together to reach the panels that are furthest away from the van. You should have no hassle.  :)

Or you could add a john guest fitting at the end of your pole hose and when you need extra just extend the pole hose, that's what I do now on some jobs 😉

we have very short  pole hose using a.ds there only 3inc sticking out of the end of the pole , then we hook up 150m of micro bore on them works well for use

I tried it, but hated it. Back to short pole hose!
