Title: Wand Jets
Post by: Kev Loomes on April 11, 2014, 08:38:01 pm
Hi folks

Anyone know where I can get wand jets 1/8" 8002 & 11002 V-jet (not T-jet)? Preferably SS but will take brass. I have found both but not all the same i.e. either brass 110 or SS 80 only - and from different suppliers!

Just want all the same lol.

Cheers for that Stu, WOC didn't have the 8002, but WCS did - I forgot about them lol.

You cant choose it depends on the fittings on your wand. V jets screw into a thread, T jets are held in by a keep nut.

You find wands use both but they are not interchangeable, each wand is specific to V or T

Most 2 jet wands are T jet which are preferable as they often have a filter & non drip fitting behind the jet, 4-6 jet wands use  V jets as they are less bulky  (and as they are less complicated cheaper)

Stu I was referring to the cost of designing a wand not replacing the jets,  the cost of jets is based on carpet cleaners being seen as idiots who will pay through the nose for replacement parts :-\ :-\

Farmers use 100s of jets, do you think they pay £8 a jet?

We need an enterprising carpet cleaner to contact these people and work out which jets are interchangeable with what we use

Would still rather pay Hydramaster than go to Solutions
