Rainwater Harvesting

Spend £2500 on a 20,000 litre tank - Find somewhere to rent to store the 20,000 litre tank - hope it rains and hey it will have cost you even more...............

Been on water meter a year, paying £80 a month direct debit. (this is for household and business use)
Got my yearly statement through recently and they are puting my direct debit DOWN £10 a month  :)

I haven't got a bill yet. I just calculated my water usage for the end of the tax year then multiplied cubic meters by £2.70 odd plus the sewerage at £1.80 per cubic meter (roughly) minus any discount.

Stuck it in George as an expense.

Hampshire window cleaning, how much water do you use a month? We are in the same area and my household and business bill is about the same as yours.
I have used 52 cu mtrs in six months for the business, so at 1 pure to 4 waste that's about 13,000 of pure or just over 2000 litres a month.
You can get a rebate form from the water board for non return to sewer.

1 part pure to 4 parts waste  ??? Maybe you need a new ro mate
My 450gpd is not far off a 1:1 ratio, slightly more waste than pure but not a lot

Was taking figures that have been quoted on here before. I will measure and see what my ratio is.
