Title: 2 inch hosing and 1 & a half inch
Post by: CleanerCarpets on April 07, 2014, 05:14:46 pm
I use 2 inch hosing on my Scorpion. I have a Ninja machine i have as a back up machine.

I notice the Enforcer can run 2 inch hosing and one of the models has the same vac set up as the Ninja.

I have always been led to believe on twin vacs 1 & a half inch hosing was recommended, not 2 inch.

I would like to make some room on the van and ditch the 1 and a half inch hosing if i could actually use the 2 inch hosing with a reducer cuff on the Ninja when needed - do you think this would be ok - if it works with the twin 5.7 vac Enforcer why wouldnt it be ok for a Ninja?

I use 2" with my Airflex, but that's a parallel set up for more airflow and does indeed benefit from the bigger hose on longer runs. But I do tend to use a shorter length of 1.5" if I am working close to the area being cleaned as it's easier to handle....and coil up. I'm sure someone will give you more info on series set ups and bigger hose.

I use 2" with my Airflex pro custom, the same set up as the Enforcer and it works well. I'm not sure if the difference in drying times is that noticeable though, only its a pig to use in comparison to 1.5". I think im going to be going back to 1.5".
