has anyone changed a 15 ltr to a 21 ltr ws202 pump on a tech-clean pt250 washer, if so can you tell me what the shaft size is please, I have tried to contact Jan at tech-clean but as usual she gave no reply,

have a look on youtube search ws202 pump and watch qwashers videos. he mentions the shaft size in one of the vids i cant remember which one

Make sure you check the rev speed on the engine when you change it over, the ww965's (which are on the techcleans) run at 3400 rpm which will be too fast for your 202... you need your engine to be running at 3150 to 3200 rpm max. If you don't have a rev counter you can work the speed of the pump out by using larger nozzles if you know how to... if not then put a brand new size 7 nozzle in and run the machine at full wack with your unloader valve dogged down so it doesnet unload one bit, you then need to turn your throttle down until you hit about 175 bar...you know that it will be doing precisely 21lpm, then adjust your throttle governing srcrew so that is your max revs.
You can now set your unloader valve to 200 bar on a size .65 jet... (it should unload a slight trickle while in use on that jet)

How do you dog down an uploader? Does this give you slightly more flow?

There are a couple of answers to this question... all depends on if your pump is capable of doing more flow... but if this is correct then I would assume your running it at full flow already? ie, a 15 lpm pump running at 13 lpm is capable of 15? but the short answer is...no mate, flow is determined by pump rpm and capability
