I bought some industrial pan scourers from my local discount store, 10 for a quid.
They make ideal poo scrubbers. Just drill a couple of holes to the front of your brush,
role the pad up, and fix it with cable ties. Job done. Dai

great idea dai. the one on the salmon looks like its ready to slip out of the tie.jouk45

Hi,
Sorry to spoil the fun.
They SCRATCH GLASS or most of them do. The ones in the supermarket that don't ,say so, the ones that do, don't.
Try a test area on your windows first before a customers .

some do scratch :o yes! but dont they do ones for windows
say like on the sleeves for applicators!
quickly patent the idea!!

Oooh - this is my pet hate!
Green scotchbrite scratches windows if you give it any hard rub at all. Ask me how I know!!
Any decent w/c supplier will have the white stuff which is especially for glass and doesn't scratch.
I cut the green end bits of every applicator I buy - don't know why it gets put on in the first place. When I used to use it, it would be worn out way before the sleeve.
Right, that's me off my soap-box - Ta Ta!
PS
Sorry for being rude Dai, that's an excellent idea - but white would be ideal

I just want to back up what some have said about scratching glass. It's hard to be totally sure from a photo but it looks like the stuff you have may scratch. Scourer type material scratches. However, the finer stuff such as that on those spongy washing up pads doesn't. I believe that it's the finer stuff that is on the ends of some applicator sleeves.
Don't do it. I came a cropper like this once (pre - WFP days). Luckily, I noticed on the first window where I used it. The customer was OK about it and I ended up doing 2 cleans F.O.C. as compensation.

The pads I used were made of the soft stuff, I tried my hardest to scratch a piece of glass with it and I couldn't. It's only made from plastic, probably recycled bottles. Dai

I'm glad to hear it. After scratching a customer's glass once, that's what I did too. I tried to scratch a piece of scrap glass and couldn't so used that stuff thereafter. I moved on to metal scrapers afterwards (the softer metal ones that are for glass scraping)
