they generally go for a few hundred more than what you payed so looks good mate ? when was it serviced and timing belt ? or chain tightened

Im sure they are ok, but check the MAX LOAD WEIGHT on them, id say your going to need at least 900KG so extra heavy duty ones will ensure you dont get blowouts on road humps under load.

Are you not worried about the mileage Daz, my 03 Combo's on 99k and i'm looking at getting rid and getting something that's low mileage.

My connect is a 2008 plate with 119K on it. Still going strong. As long as its been well serviced. I bought it with 108k full history one owner.

Just a note DAZ, when was the Gearbox oil changed?

I change my gearbox oil yearly, and engine oil every 6 months. Once with the 'official' service in the winter and once in the late spring.

My resaon? i do alot of short stop-start journeys, its a killer for gearboxes and engines as they never really get upto full operating temp, especially in winter.

just a thought.

Can't compare a Combo with the Connect 99k on 57 plate and engines mint.

hampshire i only do around 3000 miles a year(i just use the van for work)so im not worried.

so if the van lasts me 5 years ill only put around 15000 miles on the clock.

my kangoo had 126000 on it when i bought it 4 years ago.its done 141,000  now(i didnt have a separate vehicle for leisure the first 2 years).

yeah 90k is not bad, they would probably have changed the fuel filter etc if they did oil as well, im at the moment on lunch what i am doing today is, changing

front strut and strut top bearing
front suspension bush
both cv boots
and the gearbox /driveshaft gasket (small leak)

ive been there since 7 every bloody bolt is seized but the engines mint and undernieth isnt bad at all, this is a 05 ducatto i really rate them actually, parts have always been very cheep
