Title: round in transition
Post by: dazmond on March 28, 2014, 06:48:29 pm
so guys yes ive posted a lot about record months, days, weeks, years!all true! :)

im not in matt batemans league just yet although im doing ok.

i reckon im a few years behind some of you guys who went wfp say 6 or 7 years ago.(4 years wfp next month)

im slowly moving away from cheaper estate work and into larger better priced houses.the last few years has been exciting as i didnt believe i could earn much more than i did on ladders.

i was lacking in confidence but hard work, dedication and not letting customers down coupled with investing in good poles, putting prices up and charging more for all services including add ons have all helped a lot.

working in bad weather is another one.i didnt do much of it when on ladders but now nearly all customers accept me turning up in all weathers.

after years of being in debt struggling along with an underpriced round i went a bit mad when i started having a bit of disposible income for the first time in many years.

holidays,drum kits,extreme poles,another vehicle,fancy restaurants,hotels etc,etc

i dont regret one bit of it! ;D

BUT because of my extravagant ways over the last few years im left with saving hard for a new van when really i should of been putting a bit aside when i got my wfp van nearly 4 years ago.

you live and learn though and im not too far away from having the money i need for a half  decent van.

im looking forward to the spring and summer now.new van and bigger tank, nice vinyl wrap and going after them higher priced jobs!! ;)

best wishes to you all
