Post by: simp on March 26, 2014, 11:37:18 pm
Well got my Hiace, need to fit cable from van battery to split charge relay. However there are two batteries under the bonnett, which one do I connect to? Any thoughts please!

Either will be fine, choose the one with the best route to the back

Yip,

I don't know why the Hiace has 2 batteries under the bonnet.

Ford used to offer the option and were mostly supplied on their Transit Chassis cab with rear wheel drive as most of those had tipper bodies attached. The 2nd battery was for the tipper motor.
