They do hold there value, but anything that old and that mileage is only gonna go one way, and that's costing you money. £500 tops if you really must

£1100 can get you (albeit) unfashionable a 2000/2001 Nissan Vanette/ldv cub with around 70k mileage

I got the s reg 98 hiace, done me much better than any of the newer vans I had 170,000 now, 100,000 is done by me,  changed a side light bulb and serviced, that's it, fuel economy not bril but makes up for it with reliability beyond what u could ever imagine. Not the best looks but as a mega workhorse can't get better
