Worse than virosol,ubik and g101

I would agree with pure H20, they recommend to wear acid protective goggles, has a pH of 12.5 corrosive what will it do to upvc surfaces dont leave it on to long or else.
-
Don't mean to hijack the thread, but you guys who are not recommending virosol, ubik , g101, ecover ...what do you use instead?
-
virosol is around £6-50 for a 5L tub.itll last you ages.good stuff for add on jobs.

Hi Guys, The reason i have such an aversion to high alkaline based chemicals is from experience and for using them for so many years and seeing first hand the detrimental damage they cause to surfaces from continuous use. i am happy to share from my experience over the years harsh chemicals with a pH value of 10 or over generally are classed as corrosive and these are the ones you have got to be extremely careful with, the cleaning chemicals we use now depending on the surface to be cleaned would have a pH value of between 7 to 9 always remember that a cleaning chemical with a pH value of 11 is actually 10 times more alkaline than a cleaning chemical with a pH value of 10. i met a chemist many years ago who explained to me some home truths about the cleaning industry and went on to tell me that people dont care how much you know until they know how much you care, he also showed me what to look out for and always check the material safety data sheet on the cleaning chemical you are going to use on clients surfaces, there are many janitorial suppliers in the UK who will guide you through the process of using safe and effective cleaning chemicals, just put them to the test and see that they also care. now again guys i said i am happy to share my experience i know other people will have different ideas and other people will think what a load of BS which is fine to, just hope that this info can be of benefit to some of the newer guys joining our industry.

Are waffle cloths any good for this?

Tadgh, would you care to share what it is you use, i am genuinley interested? Even if its your own products or whatever, what are the alternatives? I've got a problem with the residues left by the above products which is not always apparent straight away. Or if you prefer my email is cleanandclearliverpool@gmail.com and i can be more specific.

I'm still thoroughly test driving some samples Tadgh O Shea sent me and so far, I'm really impressed which is rare for me.
Waffle cloths - they're actually really good.
Plus, having spoken to him on the phone, the bloke seems to know 100% what he's talking about even if it's a bit long winded but that is sometimes the way of the Irish, the story has to be told properly in full or not at all. ;D

Gardiners never sold Magica One go... infact no company sold Magica One Go!!
The only person who did was the fella selling on ebay ripping off G101 product! you ended up paying twice as much if not more for a product you can buy in the shops and re-labled it ;D
