Fiber Plus Cleaning Pads http://www.cleaningsystems.co.uk/product/788/fiberplus_carpet_cleaning_pads (http://www.cleaningsystems.co.uk/product/788/fiberplus_carpet_cleaning_pads)

Fiber Plus Max Renovation Pads
http://www.cleaningsystems.co.uk/product/789/fiberplus_max_carpet_cleaning_pads (http://www.cleaningsystems.co.uk/product/789/fiberplus_max_carpet_cleaning_pads)

You would need the 12" pads for Floormac which are boxes of 5 and last about 1000m2 for the Beige and 750m2 for the Grey per pad.

Thanks for that. Which would you recommend for carpet tiles (commercial) and wool carpets (domestic)  How long do they last too.  Can you rinse on site and keep using them?

Thanks

Coverage as above. They are agitation pads for Encap so dont absorb as much as they scrub.

Beige is for most work. Grey is for commercial loop low profile or totally trashed stuff.

How many Sq Mts per hour would you average using a floomac and those pads mentioned above for Encapping?

I do very little commercial work but its something I'd like to a bit more of but only on a small scale, not 10,000 sq mts of offices.

I have a floormac which is currently used only for agitation prior to HWE

Wayne you would be better off with a normal rotary and can probably pick one up for the same price  ;) del

Its something I have been thinking about for a while but with space at a premium in my van at the moment I had just thought about trying encapping with the floormac on small scale work.

Reading about all the encapping stuff has got me interested in having a go without the initial additional cost outlay.

Nothing to it Wayne....I've been encapping domestics all this week using the Floormac with Dynamall.
I have a 13 and 17 inch Victor Sprite but wanted to see if the lighter Floormac would suffice...it does on domestics.
Did the first one today...lounge/diner...elderly couple so just the usual marks where the feet touch the floor on sofa and chairs.
Vacced even though it had been vacced...sprayed down...dwell for 5 or 6 minutes for coffee...agitated using black brush...then sprayed a 17 inch scrub bonnet with it and went over it again especially the marked areas and it came up lovely and nearly dry thanks to bonnet.
It was one of those houses where the lounge is on the first floor above the garage so I reckon it would have taken me 1hr 40mins with humping gear up and down to the entrance door on the first floor to HWE.
Time from arriving to departing plus obligatory coffee but no biccies 1hr 5mins.

We mainly do all domestic custy with encap.  Never complaints.  Like the chap above, all we have done this week is domestic encap.  Got two tomorrow to do.  Saves so much time humping all the gear.  Don't get me wrong if a carpet is a stinker, then we will get the beast out.

You will clean far less sq yds per hour with a orbital verses a rotary ! Second hand rotarys are plentifull and if you want a smallish 12inch one they are available, I can easily clean 150 sq yds an hour with my rotarys , but imho orbitals are hard work

We have 17" victor sprites, and sprite 300.

Both work great on commercial and fly through jobs.

Please note that Dynamall has been re-formulated. It now has greater dilution rates 1-20 -1-30 as opposed to 1-10 1-15. It also now has a lovely Orange fragrance.Early feedback is that it is working fantastic and everyone loves the smell unlike the original which did get a few adverse comments.
There has been a slight increase in price to reflect the higher Polymer content and subsequent more economical dilution rates.

Mr Kelly
ive noticed on the side of craftex powdered prespray it says on the side of the container it says ph 6.7
yet the write up says ph 11 which is more like what an enzyme should be
I know craftex do an acidic liquid enzyme, but thats a different product

Stuart, enzymes do not have a ph. Only the chemical that is combined with it does.
