The equivalent gardiners clx 27 is £187, so yeah, if it is comparable, it is a good price. But, it doesnt say the weight, so you cant realy compare. Gardiners quote the weight of the clx 27 as 1720g, so if you can find out the weight of this pole, and if it is about the same, absolutely, give it a shot.

Just called them - 1.8kg but out of stock (with no ETA for new stock).

Typical!. Still, 1.8kg is only a little heavier than the gardiners, might be worth the verbal stoning you will get on here for daring to stray from the true path....... ;D

......if only for a bit of variety!.

probably were never in stock. or only had 1 or 2.
