Title: Help pricing solar panel cleaning
Post by: murf64 on March 25, 2014, 09:19:19 am
I have been offered the opportunity to quote for cleaning 20,000 solar panels, they are all on the ground.

I would be using WFP.

Any ideas what I should quote per panel please?

Has anyone cleaned these low level panels before, if so any tips.

Cheers

Really boring work lol

1 man can do anywhere between 800 and 1000 panels a day

Prices will vary but I would say anywhere between 30p and 50p per panel.

Do the sums and timings that best suit you  ;)

Hope that helps

;D ;D If only you knew what I was up to over the last 24 hours! It's very exciting!

How do you know I've not been asked about the same site and already know how much and how long?  ;)

Depends how well youre geared up for the job. Can you produce a supply of reasonable water on site, that'd help. How close is it to you anyway.

25p a panel. Ground work is reasonably easy. You should be able to knock 200 out an hour oncew you get going.

Window cleaning isn't exciting, but cleaning 200 solar panels and hour must be as mind numbing as it gets. Mind you, easier than conservatory roofs I guess.

I have never done 200 an hour even for a single hour. Over the course of a day, you can manage half that

You need to pull your finger out and get out of bed in a morning then! :P

Thats the problem. I get up in the morning and then go to bed again in the same morning.
