Mileage is too high in my opinion.

If its a 2005 plate 815 I would expect that it will be a 1.9 non turbo. The model ran out in 2006 and they were messing with engines around  that time (2005) as Euro 4 kicked in. So it could be an hdi engine so that would also be a thing to check and confirm.

There are many dealers selling stuff that call a 1.9 d an hdi. I've seen it numerous times on ebay.

The Enterprise had ABS brakes and a couple of other features - cd radio.

I wouldn't worry too much about the miles as long as there is plenty of service history. As spruce mentioned, it wont be a 2.0, the 815kg payload version, certainly at that age, came with the 1.9 non turbo diesel only. Not fast in any way shape or form with about 70bhp, but pretty much indestructible engine. I would say the price is a bit high for the miles unless exceptional condition.

never bothered,     perfect condition cosmetically,     doors didnt close flush,     i could have pulled doors open from locked at the rear, very un secure.      i thought only one owner    great,      this chaps had it 2 weeks.     prob a dealer selling for more.  not even parked at his house.
theres plenty out there to pick from,     wait for the right one.

ebay should have a setup    where viewers of vehicles can leave feedback after viewing,     a lot of people getting ripped off. mileage was too high.

sometimes hinges get bent due to wind etc, you can take them off and bash them in a vice to flatten them sometimes and then you can adjust the door connectors on the actual van

Is this it?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Citroen-Dispatch-815-D-Enterprise-Van-Serviced-2-days-ago-1-Former-keeper-/261429059603?pt=UK_Commercial_Trucks&hash=item3cde62e013#ht_746wt_1399

I would always get suspicious when the seller starts with

"I'm going to start off by saying that is NOT YOUR USUAL RUBBISH".

And here is an example of someone trying to sell a 1.9d as a 2.0 hdi

As well as what has already been said, the van may have been in an accident and not fixed properly.

thats the one spruce.     parked no where near his house, but he could see you when near the van,   then he comes out of his house.       i wouldnt have liked to leave my gear in the back,  very unsecure.    he kept saying    just put some dead locks on it.

great looking van,     just something stopping me from getting it.
when it says one owner from new,  id expect to buy from that owner,   more real feedback regarding vehicle, unless of course it is sold by a dealer .  who obviously paid less for the van

by pretending that he isnt a dealer is fraud .   i see he has other items on sale on ebay  indicating hes a dealer

You trusted your instincts which is great.

If you are ever the slightest bit unsure or unhappy, then walk away.

He sounds like the typical used van wheel-a-dealer, just put deadlocks on it. It wasn't like that when new so he should be wanting to sort the issue out.

Anyway, I still think the mileage is too high.  ;)

As robertphil says - "I wonder why?" Don't even stop to try to see things from another point of view - his.

Have you noticed how much junk is out there at the moment?
