Title: Dry carpets
Post by: alticry on March 22, 2014, 04:56:14 pm
Possibly good bit of work from caravan parks but owner wants carpets dry when finished .
I would appreciate some advice on what kind of equipment would help achieve this . Thanks .

Air mover in each caravan when finished, then move on to the next caravan. Helps if you have 2 or 3 air movers but one will do the job.

Perhaps he asking for them to be dry because in the past he has had a bad experience with either himself or another carpet cleaner doing the carpets and leaving them wet for days.

Tell him normally you can achieve a good quality deep clean and have them dry in 4 hrs, if he wants the dry quicker you can do that..... but the quality will slightly drop.

Who knows he might be happy with a 4 hr dry time

Have you tried using a rotory in a caravan :o :o

it's hard enough trying to use a wand

A rotary no but the Oreck or Floormac would come into its own here.

My thoughts too Stuart....used to have a 30 foot static on site in York and used to get the odd one to do for other people onsite.
The second bedrooms were the awkwardest.
Did more u/h than carpets though.
