Without doubt the best two storey pole which is light costs
little especially in comparison to what it will make for you wth
the only disadvantage for some being a long closed length  is
£15.99

Do you need a 25/26 ft pole (so plus your height it'd be a working reach of around 30ft)?
Or including your height you need a total of 26ft?
It says 26ft working reach on the website so the pole is 22ft + you makes around 26ft working reach....

The number after the pole tends to be the length of the actual pole (slx 22 = 22ft/slx 25 = 25ft)

you can get an extension section to make it 26ft actual length , about sixty/seventy quid .

Yeh, just read about the extensions.  When I get the pole I will have a play and buy the extension.

koopmaster - thank you for your order.

The SLX22 is (as has been said) 22ft - we try and name the poles by their actual length rather than name them by their reach which some brands do. On the chart the 26ft is for reach that can be achieved (as has been pointed out).

If you would like to switch your order to a different pole we can do this for you before processing your order on Monday, no problem at all. If you really need a longer pole then it is probably best to switch the order. If you would like to do this then please email me with your order number and I will see that the Sales team contact you first thing Monday morning.

However if you think 22ft might do your work (22ft generally does 90% of domestic work) then we can leave the order as it is and you can see if it is long enough - if it is not then an extension can be bought for the occasions you need 26ft actual length 30ft reach.

Thanks,  I have emailed sales and asked if I can change the order to the SLX25,  I think it will be a better option.

Hmmm, now would this confusion have taken place had the order been taken the old fashioned way - over the phone - with a knowledgeable sales person?

I wonder...

I can't see what is so confusing about ordering a pole on the website. The poles are all advertised as actual length not pole reach unlike other companies.

It's just that though isn't it? There is no industry standard so if you are or have been comparing two different suppliers - highly likely one would have thought - confusion is almost inevitable.

Alex said, ''The SLX22 is (as has been said) 22ft''.

The website says 6.5m. That is closer to 21 foot  4 inches.

22 feet = 6.7m

Has the SLX II been made longer and lighter than the old SLX which was 6.39m (20 feet and 11 inches) and 1300g?

I remember when this discussion came up before on weights and lengths.
