Title: Gutter pole cuff sizes ?

Bought some carbon fibre gutter poles which are supposed to be 50mm, but I tried to connect the pole to my existing vac hose cuff ( which is 50 mm)  and it doesn't fit !       Anyway I measured the OD of the carbon pole, and it is 48mm
one end, and 52mm t'other, so it has me stumped !      Can you buy a 48,0r 52mm cuff ?
