Just washed the family car over the weekend. Used the wfp water, you know the results were amazing. Is there anyone using wfp on their cars at home and if so why isn't there a system for car valeters?

The might go through to much water as you would need a good rinse of pure after using all the soapy water.
-
I don't know. All I did was fill up bucket with wfp water, add car shampoo and wash as normal. That's 10 litres. Then wash off soap using hose, about 70 litres. So not too bad. Only took 40 mins.

You don't even need shampoo....just wash the same as windows. removing old soap stops it getting dirty so quickly
-
This is the best way to was cars and vans... Snow foam.
You spray it on thick, it drags all the dirt onto the floor then rinse it off:)
Then you give it a quick spray with pure water.

Yes you do need some sort of cleaning agent when valeting/detailing vehicles, and is totally different to cleaning windows.

Nope.
Snow foam will not remove all road grime off on it's own, it gets most of the grime off, but will still need to washed by hand.

There are many valeters/detailers who use Pure Water through a DI Vessel for rinsing-off.
You can use tap water with shampoo and then rinse with tap water.
For the final rinse, use the Pure Water.
If your vehicle has a decent coat of wax, use a slow open flow of pure water to 'chase' the water off the paintwork, this method will leave the vehicle almost dry, and what little water is left will leave no watermarks/spotting.

I wash mine with wash & wax then rinse with hose then rinse with pure for a spot free finish! ;)

i'll ask the wife what she uses.

I've washed all my cars and vans for 10 years with the small Omnipole, also I know a few mobile car washers where they use pure water 👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧👳😳

i always clean my van and car with a small pole(converted unger optiloc)and rectangle vikan brush.i just use pure water but i spray the alloys on my car with virosol via pressure sprayer.brings em up nice! ;D

It depends how dirty your car is.
I washed my mums black audi and my van at the weekend, snow foamed them both twice as they were really back.
Went back over dried them off and it was spotless

Not a good idea to show your car and registration number online.
-
Why , I could walk the streets and get several numbers ????

Can i ask why? Doesnt every car have a number plate?

Its to do with cloning which is a growing crime at the moment.
Yes somebody could walk down the street and get your car details or see you driving about
but why increase the rick by putting them online for many more to see.
-
If someone wants to clone a car, all they have to do is go on-line to any car dealership/ebay etc and ALL registration plate details are there to see....which is much easier than looking on Forums for a particular make/model/colour of vehicle to clone.

there's loads of clowning going on on this site - be careful!

Oh I see. I'm not overly concerned about that as the car has been electronicly taged with Mazda which the police have access to. So if they do pull over my registration details even on a clone car it flags up addition information from Mazda which the police can quickly check without even gaining access to the vin numbers. It's all very clever.
