Couple of pw quotes today and had a couple of custys who said I'm on a meter your not using ours :( I said don't worry take a reading before and after and I'll refund. They seemed to think we use shed loads of water for a small drive. Grrr

TELL THEM IT COSTS AROUND 1.60 PER CUBIC METER AND YOULL USE ABOUT 2, (DEPENDANT ON SIZE OBVIOUSLY) THEN SAY I'LL KNOCK YOU A TENNER OFF FOR GOOD WILL... THATS WHAT I DO.

I get this an awful lot but it only ever comes from the older generation! They all seem to have it in there heads that water is extremely expensive? I just tell them it's unsafe to transport  more than 500ltrs so I'll come with a full 500 ltrs and just top it up with there's. They seem to accept it and it's the end of conversation ! :)
