I have some blocks of flats and I can't do some flats because some twisted Architect has put french windows and a Juliette balcony 3 flights up..
All of my Gardiner Brushes are too wide to twist them through the bars.Im not overly keen on hacking into them.. . Any Ideas folks?
Im not keen on missing out on earning opportunities when the van is parked and the Kit is out anyway....

Extreme brush with a resi-swivel neck - job done.

Xtreme brush with standard resi neck you just got to have the knack simple as peas . Mike

No, swivel neck then you can cover more glass and work from odd angles so you don't need to pick the exact slot in the railings ;)

How will a quicklock help him get through a Juliette balcony? That's the mechanism for connecting the gooseneck to the brush afaik.

If it has steel rails turn you brush to 45 degrees and stand to the side and insert the brush in the middle of the bars then move from the left side to the right side while cleaning the glass. Stand quite close to the glass while cleaning.
ITs the glass sheet balcony I have problems with.

We had 2 blocks of apartments with a total of 27 x 2 bedroomed flats. 18 of them had Juliet Balcony's. It took me as long to clean the 18 french doors behind the juilet balconies and the 8 standard ground floor windows below them as it took my son to clean all the other windows and the stairs windows and entrance doors inside and out.
So cleaning the glass behind the railing will more than double the length of time you are on site.
I once spoken to a cleaner who had a block of flats with 6 stories in our town. He negotiated to clean above the balcony railings but not behind them. The flats management felt that the tenants/owners could do that. He cleaned everything else.

And with a swivel, once through the bars, you twist the pole & your brush returns to the correct axis- even easier & faster. On that example above, ONE insertion would allow you to clean the whole pane! ;)
