Title: Resin drives
Post by: Kylos on March 14, 2014, 12:06:51 am
Hi first post on here so go easy,

I'm faced with a resin driveway, can it just be cleaned using a fsc or does it have to be done with lance ? Will excessive pressure cause it to break up or are they tough enough to with stand 200bar, and finally how would you guys tackle oil stains and such ? What would you use etc

Thanks in advance to any one who replies

Use the FSC just go steady..if it starts ripping it up (which it should not do ..if it's laid right) stop. Turbo should be ok too ..just don't start close up to it.

Thanks you ? Is it ok to use bleach or gunk to clean oil or will it damage the resin ?

I would use warm water /fairy liquid on something like that. I doubt the oil will penetrate the stone due to the high resin content...it will be sat on top of it.
If that does not remove it try one of the specialist oil digesters/removers.
http://shop.resiblock.com/products/resiblock-oil-remover-1l just test it first to make sure it does not dull your drive.
