Problem is Andy, when you start adding additives to the tank it can be a real pain to get rid of them. Most are water soluble, but they can still leave a nasty film.

Yea true, i will just stick with pure, MIGHT just mix some tfr with pure and do some experimenting trad,

I detail cars with pure water and the windows, once ive used some glass polishing cream, have a certain shine to them that pure cant achieve

The best mix i have found for trad is Ecover, bit of virosol, Isopropyl alcohol and pure water. But i couldnt be arsed to make it up every time.

Virosol is awesome for nicotine!

I used it in 2010 when we had all that snow, as i had freezing jet problems. When i did some leaded windows they cleaned and dried fine. It wasnt until i went back or drove past a few days later i was like WOW.

Its a cleaning fluid and used as a solvent cleaner. The reason it's so good is because it eats oils for breakfast (oil as in diesel smuts :) )
