Don't ya just love cleaning really dirty carpets,
The satisfaction ya get. And when you get that stain out, WOW what a buzz.
Then you get the carpets that are reasonably clean, and you get a result , BUT I HATE CLEAN CARPETS. there's nothing to show custie of value.

Thing I hate most is cleaning already very clean 3 piece suites.....water still clear after extraction.

The novelty soon wears off when you being doing it for 20 years, I can tell ya ! ;D
-
I`ll second that! ;)

This is our 21st year, and actually I still do really enjoy turning a minger into something nice.

The problem we have with cleaning clean carpets is the time it take us to clean a carpet,
if we clean a really dirty carpet in 20 mins the customers can see what an amazing job we have done...... but how long it actually took is irrelevant but if the carpet is clean then it looks no different so the customer cannot see what they get for thier money.

I've been doing this for 37 years and I still love it.

Yep 24 years here and still going..strong ;D

A mere 33 years for me, and yes still enjoying the job, And still get Immense Job satisfaction on a daily basis and you can't say that with most jobs which basically are just drudgery and clock watching. :)

I think it's the immediacy of it!
You arrive at the job and turn a dirty carpet into a clean carpet. Unlike a paperwork job there is nothing more to be done. Once it's clean, it's clean.
Oh, and you get paid immediately for it (usually).
There's not many jobs with that sort of conclusive closure.
