Title: conny roof steps or what type of ladder?

just wondering what others use to stand on when cleaning awkward parts of conservatory roofs,i currently use a pair of steps,but have to say i feel they are unsafe.
what the best piece of safe equipment to buy ?

Been using these for around a year. As long as the ground is level they are a dream to work/clean with

Hi Colin, I purchased conservatory ladders to enable me to get on the roofs up close for deep cleans. They are not cheap but i do quite a few ,  if you can justify paying from £400 - £550. Saves a lot of time and gives a better clean than using a WFP. Ed

I feel steps are unsafe, we either use a ladder or small scaffold tower depending on job size, access etc

normal trade ladder,sometimes with a ladder stand off depending on the job.

that's similar to what I use,but I feel steps are a bit unsafe

hi Darren if you use a ladder what do you lea not against ? Will it not damage the guttering ?

Never damaged the guttering yet, it's very tough stuff, it allows your upper body to be above the gutter line and speeds up cleaning no end.

Pitch the ladder either equally between gutter clips or have the clip central inside the rungs never half resting on a clip
