Beats canvassing when they come to you ;)

Best way... Last week give a "guide"price via email ... you know I'm always wary of punters talking there massive house down .. Anyways turned up .. The price I give would only cover the fronts !! .. Left a note then sent email saying it's going to be double cost for your size ... Gets the job ... So works if you're nit desperate for the work .
Daz - when you stick your prices up do you just do it or do you inform the punter ? .. gotta few thinking of increasing come April that's all

it must be this sunshine but ive had loads of calls and cleaned 2 new jobs with 4 to go do when i can fit them in with my other work but i did get a nasty piece early on the phone asking for a quote which i replied i'd need to see the windows as she said the frames where disgusting so i said it depends if they need renovation with my chemicals or just a scrub with the brush and she was moaning coz i couldnt give her a price over the phone on them so just told her i'll call eound in next day or two when im near here but that wasnt good enough, she wanted me round tommorrow at a certain time to which i replied sorry but my current customers have to be done first then i'll call round and she seemed very put out lol
think its a job i'll quote but quote high so when shes moaning it will be worth it!
