I think it looks good clear and easy to read.

But I think putting starting at £7, is not good, as everyone will expect a price around this figure.

I can appreciate it is to attract people attention. And I hope it all turns out great for you.

I have been cleaning now 30yrs, and when I first started  I under priced my self as most do.

How did you fund the van and equipment? As we started with ladders and chamois and the squeegees, and starting up was just about £80.

No Different Allbright.  He Is Albright and I have an extra L. Allbright.

Im getting a 650 litre hot system fitted by Arthur at Sureclean. Getting SLX poles which will fit in van. I have done my research  :)

System bought cash from savings. Bought new van on cheap finance as want to keep it for a few years.

Its easier to find customer at a price were you can make a profit than find them and then move up your price. At seven pound you are squarely in the cheap market and will find it difficult to move up market by say 5 quid more if you under priced. If it was me I would never go under a tenner.Only my thoughts ,Mate. ??? ??? \But van looks nice.

You've just totally ripped off Albrightandshiny's name, logo and colour scheme. You better hope he's in a generous mood after that because that name, logo and colour scheme is trademarked as far as I am aware.

Ladies and Gentlemen.

Albright and Shiny Ltd has  registered the Trade mark Albright and Shiny. Any misrepresentation of this name is breach of that trade mark . One L or two makes no difference. Check it out with the Intellectual property office.

The Livery shown in the Pictures saved on here are a direct lift from Images designed specifically for  Albright and Shiny and are subject to copyright. The Images uploaded to the website have been saved as evidence for any future legal action.

The Person who has placed this online has received an Email from me advising that continuing with these breaches will result in legal action..

Just in case anyone is under any illusion. This is a direct lift from the Intellectual property office website.

Infringement
What is trade mark infringement?

If you use an identical or similar trade mark for identical or similar goods and services to a registered trade mark - you may be infringing the registered mark if your use creates a likelihood of confusion on the part of the public. This includes the case where because of the similarities between the marks the public are led to the mistaken belief that the trade marks, although different, identify the goods or services of one and the same trader.

Where the registered mark has a significant reputation, infringement may also arise from the use of the same or a similar mark which, although not causing confusion, damages or takes unfair advantage of the reputation of the registered mark. This can occasionally arise from the use of the same or similar mark for goods or services which are dissimilar to those covered by the registration of the registered mark.

Sorry can i just point out something please?

Although he has clearly ripped off someones artwork, and I 100& Agree that this is wrong, where is the TM markings or C symbols?

I have been looking at Albright and Shiny Ltd's website and van and he has failed to include these symbols on his artwork. This if i am not mistaken is one of the requirements of copywright law.

Set me straight if im wrong. I always make sure my artwork is protected. if you look carefully my logos all have the symbol.

Really?  You say some astoundingly daft things on here but that takes the biscuit.  Someone's spent time and money creating a design and a brand, they have trademarked their design, name and logo and you think it's childish to defend that?

IPO gave me a nice certificate showing my trade mark is registered. That is sufficient in law.

There is no requirement for the use of the R or TM on anything public facing material.

Im not getting into any more discussions about the legality of Trade marks.

I a otherwise engaged.

Steve

Try writing down every name you can think of without judgment.  Just write them as they come up.  Do that for a couple of days.

Give it a day to let your mind go off the subject then scratch out everything that's utterly mad.  You'll have a useable shortlist.

Then check that what you've chosen isn't being used - a google search is a good start (Perfect Windows was in use.  Fortunately, only in Canada).

Good luck.

Funny thread, the denials were quality.

There has probably been ~50 different van wraps put on here over the years and you went a ripped off probably the only design which is trademarked, then posted the pics on the very forum you skanked the design from!

Fair play for eventually owning up though.
