Website. A good ranking website will pay dividends.

I also advertise on our local papers website. Used to be the old thisisplacename.co. uk, I think there localworld or something now. I don't get work directly from the news site per say but it has a great Google ranking. Then one of my local competitors does the same thing and copies my page word for word. He copy and pasted the whole f'in lot. But worse part is that his page now ranks higher than mine. Not happy!

It was the local magazine that brought in the work last year, along with the window, and gutter cleaning,   getting gutter cleaning inquiries, but not the pw yet !

Samson put a link on to your website then you could get some feedback.
What area are you in? Hows the competion getting on?

I get all my work from my website and dont advertise anywhere. I am getting loads of enquires and working 5 days a week for last few weeks. Ive got a busy week next 6 tennis courts, 2 indian stone  patios one needs full re pointing. Just booked 2 big houses full works and got about 8 clean and seals booked when the weather gets better.

My first couple of years were hard but it does get better...honestly!
