Title: Single pane glass 50' up
Post by: Dave Willis on March 04, 2014, 07:17:56 pm
Got to quote a large job this week, absolutely mingin. Large arched windows with wooden frames probably 40 to 50 feet high. Not sure I want to be smacking my brush against single pane glass at that height. What do you reckon?

At that height it must be tempered glass or laminated I would do it no probs.

I got one like that consisting of ten 30ft panes of glass up to 50ft in height at highest point - no problems :)

I was informed the glass is £30,000 per 30ft unit
