Post by: BDCS on March 03, 2014, 10:14:30 pm
I don't suppose anyone has cleaned a massive olive oil spill ! there was talk of 16000 ltrs. They used caustic last time but I'll try just heat. This is edible oil and not popeye's wife

Can't help ..sorry.If its in a confined space.

We did a large oil spill on a car park. We applied high caustic soap and put a road sweeper on it. Then reapplied and washed. Worked well ..Road sweeper was about £250 for the morning.
