Good evening everyone,

Please will you all take 5 minuets out of your schedule and follow the following link to fill in the online petition which will be presented at the public water hearing.

Please fill in as much information as possible as the more facts we have the better case we can put forward.

The only information which will be put forward at the meeting is your name and your area – the rest of the information will appear as pie charts/ graphs.

Please will the moderators of this forum make this issue sticky and also please do not delete or alter the link, as our industry is in desperation at this moment in time.

I seem to be having a pronlem with people using AOL, the petition is coming back blank........

Please would these people take some extra time and send me a manual email with there details and answers. Sorry, AOL is a law onto itself these days.

Hi Andy

I copied and pasted mine onto AOL so you should have got that.

Also, Southern Water soon will be going for a drought order or so I understand from the radio.

There's already a ban on hosepipes and 'unessassary' (how do you spell that word?) use of water.

Good afternoon everyone,

The response to the petition has been really poor so far, with only 69 petitions having been submitted.

Please remind yourselves, although this current drought order may not effect you due to your location at present. If the water boards win this, then other water boards up and down the country will submit their applications,

At this stage, I would urge the FWC to contact all its members, rather by email, post or telephone and ask them to fill in the petition. In addition, I would also kindly ask Philip Hanson to do the same to his clients from the PWC Mag. It would also be beneficial to the manufacturers and suppliers for example, Ionic, Brodex, Omnipole etc, to forward details to all their customers about the drought order and also ask them to fill in the online petition.

I will require all the petitions to be filled in by Tuesday evening so I can collate the information and prepare it for the following days meeting.

This is no time for Federations/ Associations/ Manufacturers to hang around and not help. Please everyone, contact as many people as you know.

I do hope wc stick together on this :-\ unlike the congestion charge,it did not get much backing,and soon it will come to a town near you lot,so unless you get off your butts,and push the buttons ;D so all will suffer,if that happens :-\ its all your own doing :-\ all of the country wc wfp or not sign in and back one another :)

before apathy sets in as normal :P
