Title: PUMP Keeps Stopping

Hi Guys

My pump keeps stopping. Sometimes if I give the top of it a tap it starts working again . Any ideas

Wiring faulty/broken internally/poor connection.

What make of pump have you got. It sounds like a pressure switch, you might be able to adjust it with a screw.

Do you have a controller connected to this pump? If so, what type of controller? How old is the pump and what is the model?

Chuck it and buy new, to much hag keep tapping it not knowing if its gonna work or not would drive me ccrrrazzzy 👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Steve could you provide more information on your pump - battery - Have you a controller if yes are any messages displayed?
What is the age and type of pump and Battery?

Could you have air in the system or a blocked filter?

The more information you can give the more likely this can be resolved quickly

I had this problem changed the pressure switch and it was ok after that.i got a Unipart  pressure switch of the net someone on here said where to get it I just cant think where it was

Maplins do the pressure switches, take it in and match it up.

Yes the pressure switch, and add a relay and you won't have the problem again.
