Steady.
Bought a submersible pump today to go into my 1000 litre ibc of pure, to move it into my van.
Standard size 100 litre per minute submersible.
And it flippin won't fit in through the lid of my ibc! Not sure if my ibc had a smaller lid than others.
Anyone else have this problem and did you find a submersible pump that was thin enough to fit in the ibc?
Jonny.

You need to cut a flap in the top,
Even the complete systems pure freedom sell are done that way,

what he said - happen to me a few years ago. you need to cut the top so its big enough to fit.

Ah thanks south.
Makes sense I suppose. Ateast I don't have to buy a new submersible.

Don't cut a hole just cut 3 sides to make a flap,
Then you can still close it to keep and dirt out,

Good point!
I wouldn't have thought of that.
Thanks again.

I never had that problem , my clean IBC arrived not so clean , it was still full of wrigleys extra pellets stuck to the bottom , i ended up cutting a hole big enough for me to climb in with my pressure washing lance , it was comical to see im sure !!!

Haha, I can imagine!
Mine had a little bit of staining inside so I've put about 300 litres of water in the bottom, mixed with a degreaser and I'm letting it sit for a while.
Will need a good rinse out to get it ready for pure, bit will be worth it in the long run. It's in the garage too so no sunlight should keep it algae free.
