The '03-'09 transporter most commonly comes as a T28, T30 and T32, i think you do also get a T26, but for wfp it would be too small a payload. They will vary depending on exact model, but as a guide, the T28 has a payload of about 1000kg, T30 about 1200kg, and T32 just under 1400kg.

As someone who has direct experience of the disparity between a quoted payload and what you can actually carry, i would say a 500l tank for the T28, 650l for the T30, and 750l-800l for the T32.

Sorry but those pay loads are all out.

A T32 is a 1250kg payload. IF You are really lucky you can find a 1333KG payload.

The figures i quoted were approximate as different payloads apply depending on exact model, and were from parkers website, which i have always found to be very accurate. however, in the interests of being thorough, i did some more searching and found an extract from a sales brochure for a vw transporter. These payloads are for the swb version of the standard van.

T26, 740-752kg
T28, 758-952kg
T30, 958-1186kg
T32, 1120-1340kg

As for price, how long is a bit of string?!. But, on autotrader at the moment there is an '05 T30 lwb with 121k miles, the asking price is £4800+vat.
