and has dropped to £17.50 a month from £175 a month ........... apparently been over paying for last 18 months :o
they have estimated my next 12 months usage at 280 cubic metres so 280'000 litres ... think I will be ok with that
nice to get an unexpected lower bill for a change :)

Jeez that's a big bill.
You are paying over 10 times more than me. Glad im not on a meter!

can i go on commercial water rates and would that work out cheaper

Since moving, our water bill is up to £60 odd a month. No meter either. At our last house it was £35 a month.

Maybe not with a 4040? You could look at rainwater harvesting as well. There's a wc called Martin nearby that collects rainwater.

Depends who your water company is. Ours have a higher tariff for commercial as well as an up-front standing charge - or at least they did have the last time I enquired.

Mines nothing I dug a big trench and tap off a neighbour few doors up !!!
