If you're talking about transfer to the van, be wary.  It's great on the day you buy it.  Then after being dragged across the ground to the van for a month, it'll spring a leak, which you tape up.  Then, once a week, you'll tape a new patch over a new hole until eventually it's just a mass of gaffer tape with more water leaking than getting to your van.  You then buy a new hose.  Repeat ad nauseam.

We now use 25mm pvc braided hose.  Bit unwieldy in the cold but lasts forever.

There is something you can do with it that's quite useful.  If it's not got too many holes, cut it into sections, sew up the ends and use them as condoms.

Lay flat hose id crap as it leeks and get blocked on the corners so does not flow properly.I have used it on my50mm gutter vac and also on 38mm I should have bought a thinner one for the transfer hose. But it fills a350  lit tank in 3 minuites.
