Title: PC Screen
Post by: Clean 'n' Tidy on March 22, 2006, 05:07:58 pm
Hi all,

I seem to be having a bad week this week.

One of my cleaners has spray polish onto a PC TFT screen. Is there anything that can be done to dave the screen or is it a replacement job?

Many thanks Kim

Kim,

Pop into PC world and try some "storex screen cleaning tissues" for £4.99 for a 100 or there abouts, which are for TFT screens.

When cleaning the screen use 5 or 6 cloths, it will look damp to begin with, but should evaporate quickly.

Also do not rub hard or put pressure onto the screen when cleaning as they touch sensitive.

Just for the record, the cleaning solution that the manufacturers use to clean screens before they leave the factory is "rubbing alcohol"

let us know how you get on!

good luck

keith

I don't know about the others.....but it's good when we all give closure to a problem.
More often or not we ask questions to smoe problem or other, others give their suggestions etc.....then we quite often do not know of the outcome  :-\

So thank you Kim

Regards

Tim

I agree Tim.

not only that it helps people when they do a search to know if the problem was resolved.
