Title: those of you who employ
Post by: Rogue Trader on February 25, 2014, 07:28:27 pm
How do you get the most out of employees to stop them sitting back and not doing as much work as you would like them to.

The employees i am interested in are van drivers who goes out in a van as a driver on their own, or the driver of a two man team.

1. How do you pay your staff? (annual salary with bonuses/basic minimum wage + commision etc)

2. Do you incentivise them on a daily target or a weekly one?

3. What do they earn on a rainy day/week.

It would be helpful to know exactly what their salary/commision/bonuses are , especially for those in the south east.

Share your knowledge fellow wc peeps ;D

non of my 3 trad workers drive means i have to but i then know jus what they are doing.  how i work is any sign of skiving/lack of enthusiasm  i sack  before it rubs off on the others .  always work in the rain on principle . pay a straight hourly rate  and guarantee them a full weeks work  year round . each worker must do 4 houses per hour  per man  mornings,  3 on the afternoons .
if by chance the van is broke or a slack day they do leafletting
