Title: How do you go about offering other services the best way??

Im having a website made at present as i want to be a cleaning company other than just a window cleaning company, i will be pushing carpet cleaning and pressure washing on my existing customer base which i feel will be the most efficiant way to get a sideline van out doing all the extra work, also ill be getting leaflets printed to give to my existing customers to be able to see other services and that existing customers would get discounts.
Those that have offered extra services, did you find your existing customer base of window cleaning customers beneficial to gaining carpet clean customers and also pressure washing vs hoping joe public finds your website or replys to a leaflet dropped through there door??

Already got the carpet machine and pressure washer, next step is to gain jobs for them to be used on.

Advice would be great from anyone in the know who has done it and had success or even failure from it.

Nice colour brochure through the doors or given to personally
to existing customers will help.

I did this last year for gutter fascia and con cleans and got
great results with my existing customer base,shall be doing the
same on a larger scale this year

What I have done Mick is print my standard window clean leaflet and used the back to promote the service I  offer which are more seasonal. I will print lots of glossy leaflets at the printer( the back of the leaflet must not be glossy or your printer will smudge )  and them pump them through my printer and add what ever I want to remote on the back. If i see the gutters in a area is looking bad.The gutter will go on the back.I have started doing the on my invoices as well, promoting internal window cleaning and conservatory deep cleaning. This I will do on a Saturday and Wednesdays by appointment. I have even printed  an article on the benefits of hot water cleaning and my gutter vac and camera free quoting in this way.This is working very well.
