-
Looks great James, don't forget to get in the tank to put some long nails through it into the ply pmsl !!!!
Better get ya ass out tomorrow to earn some wedge !!! 👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Hope you had a relaxing day Bobski, sun was out just like a summers day !!!
Pic below my second job early this morning !!!
-
12 grand and they dont even put a proper bulk head in??
-
TBH Scrimmble I prefer that bulk head as you don't get condensation in the back. I had a Fiat Scudo with that bulk head set up much better and the heater keeps the back warm.
I got the tranny and had loads of condensation but sorted now with the double foil wrap.
James you should have got the company to have had it ply lined when you bought it !!! 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧👍
-
Bob - ;D
Danny - cheers bud, yeah bring on the rest of the week
Scrimble - Yeah looking back I should have tried blagging one to be fair.
-
strange ..... first thing I did when I got my van was rip the plywood out!
-
How much was the tank from wydale mate.

How much was the tank from wydale mate.
£153.00 (including vat)
I also got a tap outlet which was included in that price.
Obviously no deleivary costs as I picked it up from there.
I used to have business out there so it was nice to see the area again.
-
Dave why would you rip the ply out ?
The ply save the internal panneling from getting damaged. I prefer ply on the floor as well as I had that plastic spray stuff put on the floor in one of my last vans which I found slippery, with the ply I found that a little water would just soak into it, it's not like the van gets flooded with water everyday. Well mine didn't anyway lol !!! 👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

thats shocking, i thought it would be a lot more of a saving.
So all you get is a free tap and maybe save a £5
I though it would have been like a £100 collected inc vat!

Unnecessary weight
When it gets wet it's going to suck the moisture up.
Handy on the walls for screwing bits to but otherwise I can't see the point.
James has a wood fetish anyway so is bound to add a load more extra weight to that ply too. ;D
-
I can see where your coming from with sucking the water up !!!
The only water would be from my feet if its raining, but I'm sure some have plastic hozelock fittings which do drip quite abit !!!
You should of ripped it out in a nice way Dave, you could have got a few quid on it off Ebay lol !!!! 👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

You wouldnt pay for delivery bud.
EVEN if you ordered from gardiner it works out to be about £158 inc vat and delv, as delv is free. And yes its free on the tank. Just a bit shocked as you went direct. I would have kicked off lol but thats just me lol

Delivery might be free but you can't rely on when it will turn up!
